Rita’s friend Alex has just booked his tickets to Goa for a vacation and he is sharing it with him.

- Rita : Where were you? I was looking for you all over.

- Alex : I was at the bus station to book my tickets to Goa.

- Rita : It is a great place. My friend was there last summer.

- Alex : There was the big queue at the booking counter.

- Alex : I was lucky to get them. Where did your friend stay in Goa?

- Rita : Are you going alone?
- रीटा : क्या तुम अकेले जा रहे हो?
- Alex : No, we are four friends on this trip.

- Rita : Great! Take a lot of pictures. It’s supposed to be the best time of the year.

This is a conversation between a tourist, a policeman and a city dweller.

- Policeman : Have you come here for the first time? Do you have some idea of this town?

- Tourist : I don’t have any idea.
- पर्यटक : मुझे कोई जानकारी नहीं है।
- Policeman : Go to the bus stand and take bus number 2 for town hall.
- पुलिसमैन : बस स्टैंड जाकर आपको बस नंबर 2 से टाउन हॉल जाना है।
- Tourist : Thanks.

- Citizen : Walk to the corner and turn left. it’s a short distance down the street.
- नागरिक : कोने तक चलकर जाओ और बाएं मुड़ो। इसी गली में थोड़ी सी दूरी पर ही है।
- Tourist : I have got no experience of this place. Can you accompany me.
- पर्यटक : मुझे इस जगह का अनुभव नहीं है। क्या आप साथ चल सकते हैं?
- Citizen : Sorry, I have got to go. But don’t worry it’s nearby.
- नागरिक : माफ कीजिए मुझे जाना है। पर आप चिंता ना करें यह पास ही है।
- Tourist : Thank you very much. I think I have fairly good idea now.

Look at this conversation between family members on a Sunday morning.

- Dad : Ruby, I just went to the store but didn’t find your items.
